Indenture 23 Aug 1827
This Indenture made and
entered into this 23rd day of August in the year of our Lord 1827
Between William G. Bullock and Rawleigh Bullock of the County of Mason and State
of Kentucky of the one part and John W. Bullock of the county of Mercer and the
State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth
that the William G. and Rawleigh Bullock for and in consideration of One dollar
to us in hand paid we have given granted and sold unto the sd John W.
Bullock and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Jno.
W. Bullock all the Estate rights, title and interest of us the sd
William G. Bullock and Rawleigh Bullock of in and to two hundred acres of land
to be laid off on the lower line of survey of 750 acres situate lying and being
in the County of Barren on the waters of Skaggs Creek and bounded as follows to
wit: Beginning at a Bucktree
standing on the Bank of sd Creek marked with the letters WGB thence S
40 W to a white oak and Dogwood corner to sd 750 acres then S 63E to a line
parallel to the lower line of sd 750 acres will include the quantity
of two hundred acres and the object of this Conveyance is to divide and set
apart to the said John W. Bullock his Equal third part in value of the sd
tract of 750 acres which was conveyed to us the sd William G.
Bullock, Rawleigh Bullock and John W. Bullock By David Bullock by Deed bearing
date the 17th February 1825 To have and To hold the premises hereby
conveyed to him the said John W. Bullock, his Heirs and assigns forever and we
the sd William G. Bullock and Rawleigh Bullock doth Bind ourselves
and our Heirs to warrant and forever defend the premises hereby conveyed from
ourselves to our heirs but from the Claims or Claims of no other person or
persons whatever. In testimony

To Marshall Key Clerk of the
County Court of sd County Certify that this Deed of Conveyance from William G.
Bullock and Rawley Bullock to John w. Bullock was this day produced in my Office
and acknowledged by the said William G. Bullock and Rawleigh Bullock to be their
act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned and the (?)deed is certified to
the proper Office for Record. Given under my hand this 23rd day of
August 1827

I William Logan, Clerk of the
County Court for the County aforesaid do certify that the within and foregoing
Deed of conveyance from William G. Bullock and Rawleigh Bullock To John W.
Bullock was produced to me in my Office with the certificate of the
acknowledgement therein included whereupon by virtue of said certificate the
aforesaid Deed of conveyance and Certificate together with this certificate both
have been duly admitted to Record in my Office. Given under my hand this 19th day of November
1827.
