This Indenture made and intered
into this 4th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and twenty six between David Bullock of the city of Richmond and
the State of Virginia of the One part and Robert C. Bullock and Alexander K.
Bullock of the county of Mason and State of Kentucky of the other parts.
Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the love and affection the
said David has for his Nephews the said Robert and Alexander hath given and do
hive hrant alien and confirm to them the said Robert and Alexander not as joint
tenants but tenants in Common a Certain piece or parcel of land containing five
hundred acres situate lying and being in the County of Barren and State of
Kentucky on the waters of Scaggs Crick Bounded as follows:
“Towit” Beginning at a
stake on the Bank of the said Creek, Corner to the land this said David had
heretofore conveyed to William G. Bullock, Rawleigh F. Bullock and John W.
Bullock thence running up the sd Creek Bending there on so far that a
line parallel to the lower line of said survey and running to the back line will
include the quantity its being part of a survey of 2000 acres patented to
Charles Dabney by the Commonwealth of Virginia and Deededto the sd
David Bullock by J. Brown. To
have and hold the above described tract or parcel of land together with all the
rites of use and profits reserving to the tenant or tenants the term of their
respective lease to the premises hereby conveyed to them the sd
Robert and Alexander, to them, their Heirs forever and the sd David
Bullock for himself and Heirs do hereby release to the sd Robert C.
Bullock and Alexander K. Bullock all his title and claim to the sd
tract piece or parcel of land this being a gift though there are no doubts about
the title, no warrants is made further against them who may claim under through
or by me. In testimony where of I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
the day and date first above written.

Louisa County To wit:
Wm. Frederick Harris and William
Nelson, Justices of the peace in the County aforesaid in the State of Virginia
do hereby Certify that David Bullock a party to a certain Deed Bearing date on
the 4th day of December 1826 and hereto (?) announced personally
appeared before us in our County afore sd and acknowledged the same
to be his act and Deed and desired us to Certify the said acknowledgements to
the Clerk of the proper Office in Kentucky in order that the said Deed may be
Recorded. Given under our hands and
seals this 9th day of December 1826.

wit:
I, John Hunter, Clerk of the County Court of Louisa aforesaid do hereby
certify that Frederick Harris and William Nelson, Jr whose signatures
appear to the foregoing Certificate of the acknowledgement of David Bullock now
are and were at the time of the signing the same acting Justices of the peace in
and for the Cunty aforesaid duly Commissioned and qualified.
In Testimony whereof I have heeto put my hand and affixed the Justice
Seal of my Office this eleventh day of December 1826.

ToWit:
I, Peter Crawford, presiding
Magistrate in and for the County aforesaid do hereby certify that John Hunter
whose signature is affixed to the above Certificate now is and was at the time
of making signing and affixing his County seal thereto Clerk of the said County
Court of Louisa duly appointed and qualified and that full faith and credit is
due to all his official acts as such. Given
under my hand the 11th day of December 1826.

at the time of said signing presiding Magistrate in and for the said County duly

Barren County Towit:
I William Logan Clerk of the
County Court for the County aforesaid do certify that the foregoing Deed of
conveyance from David Bullock to Robert C. Bullock and Alexander K. Bullock with
the several Certificates of attestation thereto produced to me in my office duly
authenticated and by virtue of said Certificates the aforesaid Deed and
Certificates together with this Certificate hath been duly ?
to Record in said Office this 21st day of August 1828.
