Robert V Rice president 1 Jul 2002 says no baptism can be substantiated for Edmund; so I removed what I had--which was apparently an idle speculation of 11 Aug 1600 Sudbury maybe or else Buckinghamshire maybe? in England;

forsythe@televar.com with the help of a data entry assistant entered about 43000 Rice family kinfolk (for internet etc use, as well as Rice Assn: 8 generations of Edmund Rice descendants from the various Edmund Rice 1638 Assn books. Most actual entry was done by an assistant with 5 years experience in genealogical data but she is not a genealogist. Mr. Forsythe merged many of the apparently identical copies of individuals in the file (every time two siblings both merged into the rice line, the books
usually fail to specify certainly that the parents were identical for sure). But Forsythe probably merged records of similar but nonidentical persons?;
